Daily Solar Energy Production

A solar electrical system will vary in the amount of power that it produces over the course of the day.  That depends on the following factors:

- What time of year it is
- What time of day it is
- How much cloud coverage there is that day.

That said, you're going to get a different amount of sunlight at the same time of day depending on the time of the year, because the days are shorter in the winter, and the sunlight is at a different angle throughout the day. 

The illustration that you see here shows you how the position of the sun, and cloud coverage, changes the percent of solar electrical energy being produced over the course of the day.
